Greenland Mines is developing a large palladium, platinum, and gold resource at the Skaergaard Intrusion on the Southeast Coast of Greenland. Palladium and platinum are critical to a number of advanced technologies, including AI data centers, hydrogen powered fuel cells, missile guidance systems, high tech electronics, catalytic converters and more. The company’s recently updated NI 43-101 resource estimate reveals that the project’s Indicated and Inferred resources may include 17.1 million ounces of palladium, 6.8 million ounces of gold, and 1.4 million ounces of platinum, with a combined in-situ value that could be as high as $60 billion (as of April 8, 2026). The palladium estimate is especially significant because the U.S. is dangerously dependent on Russia and South Africa for the supply we need and this discovery could help free us from that dependence.
