Mining Stocks collects limited data to operate the site. We use analytics services — Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager — to measure readership: pages visited, referrers, approximate location and device characteristics. These services may set cookies.

Some of our campaign landing pages also load advertising measurement tags from Google, Taboola, TikTok and Snap, so that we can measure the campaigns that link to them. Those providers receive information about your visit under their own privacy policies. Third-party market data widgets on some articles (quotes and charts) are loaded from their providers, who may set their own cookies.

Our newsletter is run on Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., USA). The signup form on this site is our own markup, so nothing is sent to Mailchimp until you submit it; when you do, your email address is sent to Mailchimp and processed on our behalf so that we can send you the newsletter. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link.

We do not sell personal information. If you contact us by email we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle it.
